Implementing AI is harder than you think - Matt Dunn
"Your gut is normally right, but you should back it up with some research as well." - Matt Dunn
New AI tool, same old anxiety: am I using this properly, or badly, or barely at all?
Matt Dunn has spent the past decade in the middle of exactly that problem. He started thinking seriously about automation more than ten years ago and has since moved into AI, now leading AI Programs at Quantum, an IT consulting firm, where he's personally trained over 4,000 people on what AI can actually do.
In this episode, Luella and Matt talk through why Automation implementations have traditionally struggled and how AI might change that, how to use AI to actually get better at your job instead of just faster, and a career focussed on working smarter, not just harder, that took him from a default commerce degree to coding a startup in his lunch break.
